Immediate Mode Graphical User Interface seminar (2007)

At the Assembly’07 event, I held a seminar presentation about Immediate Mode Graphical User Interfaces (IMGUI for short), together with Jari Komppa.

IMGUIs are a “new old” way of creating user interfaces in interactive applications. While not a silver bullet, these lightweight user interfaces can be much easier and faster to implement than any “real” widget library, and are sufficient in many cases. The session goes through theory, a bit of practise, and some case studies.

Anticipation Warrior for 9th Ludum Dare

Once again I took part in the Ludum Dare 48 hour game development competition. This was already the 9th time it was held. My little game Anticipation Warrior came 3rd.

Attending GDC 2007

I’ll be present at the Game Developers Conference 2007, held March 5-9, 2007, in San Francisco. We will have our own IGF booth there, showing off the Skinflake game Racing Pitch. Come to visit our booth for a chance to meet and chat with us, try the game and pick up our card, which are almost like collectors items. ;-P

Andromedary source release
